Losing the Bottles

Well after much research and deliberation we have decided to switch all the day bottles to complete sippies (keeping the bedtime bottle for now). They always do great with their sippies and they are almost 11 months old now. Our old pediatrician (just switched due to our move) wanted all bottles to be gone by 1 year.

This morning went ok. I could definitely tell that Criton was waiting and looking for his bottle, but broke down and drank his milk from the sippy. The girls didn’t seem phased at all by it. They just needed their sippies handed to them and they were happy campers. I wonder how the rest of the day will go…? (By the way, if you haven’t read previous posts we use the straw sippies. The kids have loved them from get go. They never really got the regular sippy, which I suppose is good since the straw sippies are better for them. If you are looking for a straw sippy I highly recommend the playtex ones found at Babies R Us.)
