OMG The Cost
Well, since all the babies are standing and cruising all over the place, it was time to get some shoes. All the shoes we currently have are too big yet for them. Also after doing a lot of research, the specialists say that proper “walker shoe” are very important to foot growth/ development in the beginning. So we went to a special store that measures the kids feet and fits them with the perfect first shoes.
It was a great experience and the kids seemed to have fun, but the bill was high. It cost $150 for 3 pairs of shoes. If you look at the individual price it wasn’t too bad ($46/ pair) but everything is multiplied by 3 which adds up quick. Anyway that’s when this thought occurred “It is all downhill from here (financially speaking).” Preparing for the babies was expensive but it was also spread out over 6+ months. Also we received a lot of things as gifts as well so our out of pocket was lowered there too. Now it is us and them…lol I am not complaining, I wouldn’t change having all three of them for anything in the world. It is was just one of “those” moments. They all seem to love the shoes though, and they have not slowed them down at all. We got home, had lunch, and then they were all over the living room as usual. We are going to the pumpkin patch tomorrow and everyone is excited. We are going to get some video and tons of new pictures (yay!).
