All By Myself…

I know there are a lot of triplet moms who bottle prop in order to feed all the kids at once or by themselves. I am not one of those though. Although it would be nice to be able to do one big feed and have more time for other things neither the children and I ever got this to work. Also their reflux is just too bad to be comfortable with not individually feeding each one. 

With that said… I was able to do all the night feeding by myself tonight! My husband got to get a good nights rest for once and I get to have the satisfaction of knowing I can do this on my own, without help. Some people may not understand why this is so important to me so I will explain a little. I am used to being completely self sufficient. Before I married my husband it was pretty much just my older children and myself. I took care of everything on my own. With the triplets though, I am just too out numbered. I absolutely hate to hear them crying, and when it is just me crying is a part of it. Not for lack of trying, but just because they have to wait their turn. So I usually have Michael help me so no one goes off the deep end crying while waiting for their bottle. So for me, that is something that is really hard to come to grips with… needing help. Not tonight though! Tonight I did it on my own and am elated.
